VictOptics Z5 1x26x32 Red Dot Sight — Black

The VictOptics Z5 is an open red dot sight with a 26x28 mm viewing window and fixed 1x magnification: designed for shooters who need fast target acquisition at close and medium ranges, with a wide, distortion-free field of view. The Picatinny mount integrated into the metal body removes the need for an additional base, keeping the overall profile low on the firearm.

The 26x28 mm window provides a generous field of view that makes target acquisition with both eyes open straightforward — a technique common in dynamic shooting and close-quarters tactical use. The red dot is the only available reticle, which simplifies decisions under pressure and reduces the risk of operator error under stress. With 10 adjustable brightness levels, the dot adapts equally well to low-light indoor environments and full sunlight conditions, where sights with a low maximum brightness become difficult to read.

The open design is the central trade-off of this category: compared to a closed red dot sight, the open window is more exposed to dust and moisture on the glass, but delivers a field of view with no physical borders and a more natural sight picture for the shooter with both eyes open. The metal body absorbs recoil better than polymer alternatives, but adds weight compared to sights built from lightweight alloy. The CR2032 battery is not included.

Key Features

• The 26x28 mm window allows rapid target acquisition with both eyes open, reducing engagement times in fast-paced shooting sequences.
• The 10 brightness levels cover the full range from dim indoor environments to direct sunlight without needing to change the optic.
• The Picatinny mount integrated into the body removes an additional component, lowers the overall profile and reduces mechanical play.
• The metal body offers greater recoil resistance than polymer solutions, suited to sustained use on both long guns and handguns.
• The multi-coated lenses reduce internal reflections and improve light transmission, keeping the dot readable in difficult contrast conditions.
