Magnifier
Magnifier modules to mount behind a red dot sight, for switching from rapid fire to precision shooting without changing your optic.
How the combination works
A magnifier has no reticle of its own: it magnifies the dot of the red dot sight. Both units must therefore sit at the same optical axis height – worth checking before choosing a mount.
A flip-to-side mount moves the magnifier out of the way when it is not needed: that is the detail that determines practicality, more than the magnification level itself. The trade-off is the added weight on the rail.
If magnification is needed at all times, a prismatic scope or an LPVO is the more compact choice.
