Green gas, high-pressure gas and CO2 capsules for gas-powered airsoft guns.
Gas or CO2
Green gas is the standard for GBB pistols and rifles: moderate pressure, realistic blowback and less wear on the seals. Higher-power gases such as red or black gas increase velocity and blowback, but should only be used where the manufacturer of the airsoft gun specifies it, as they put greater strain on the slide and valves.
CO2 in 12 g capsules performs more consistently in cold conditions and should only be used in airsoft guns designed to accept it: it cannot be used in a green gas magazine.
A gas with silicone lubricates the seals with every refill. Temperature matters: below 15 °C green gas loses pressure. Gas airsoft guns can be found under airsoft pistols, and BBs in consumables.
