VictOptics SVD Dragunov 3-9x24 FFP Riflescope — Black

The VictOptics SVD Dragunov 3-9x24 FFP is a variable riflescope with a first focal plane designed to mount directly onto the side rail of SVD, AK-74 and derivative platforms, AS VAL and VSS Vintorez, with no additional adapters required. With a 24 mm objective and a variable magnification range of 3x to 9x, it covers the medium-range engagements that define these platforms: the field of view at 3x spans 6 to 14 metres per 100 metres of distance, sufficient to acquire targets in open ground or through vegetation, while at 9x it allows precise reading of the point of impact.

The first focal plane (FFP) ensures that the etched SVD reticle maintains the same metric relationships at every magnification: the subdivisions for range estimation and windage correction remain valid across the full zoom range, without needing to remember at which magnification the reticle is calibrated. Click adjustment is 0.5 MIL with a total travel of 18 MIL in both elevation and windage, values consistent with the medium-range engagements for which these rifles are designed. Parallax is fixed at 91 metres: an advantage in terms of compactness and reliability, though below that distance a parallax error may occur if the eye is not perfectly centred behind the ocular.

Eye relief ranges from 72.6 to 80 mm, a generous figure that accommodates the shooting position imposed by the fixed stock typical of SVD platforms. The reticle features red illumination with 2 brightness levels, powered by a single CR2032 battery not included. The die-cast aluminium body is nitrogen-filled for resistance to internal fogging, with IPX4 water resistance and a declared recoil rating of 500 G. Overall length is 285 mm with a weight of 605 grams without lens covers.
