The Frenzy Flex 1x22x26 MOS is a closed red dot sight from Vector Optics with a fixed 1x magnification and a rectangular 22x26 mm window, designed for fast engagement at close to medium range on pistols, compact carbines and rifles. The MOJ™ footprint, compatible with RMR, makes it a direct fit for MOS-ready pistols without additional adapters — an appealing option for those looking for a field or defensive handgun optic.

Weighing just 30 g with a 6061-T6 aluminium body, the sight adds negligible weight and does not noticeably shift the balance of the firearm. The 3 MOA dot is fine enough not to obscure the target at medium distances, yet large enough to pick up instinctively under stress. Elevation and windage adjustments are made in 1 MOA clicks, with a total travel of 45 MOA on both axes — sufficient to zero virtually any weapon and ammunition combination, though not designed to compensate for extreme deviations such as those produced by non-standard barrels well outside specification.

Illumination offers 8 daytime levels and 2 night-vision-compatible levels, powered by a CR2032 battery housed in the base. The bottom-mounted battery compartment is a deliberate design choice: it allows the battery to be replaced without removing the sight from the firearm and without losing zero, at the cost of slightly less immediate access compared to side-entry models. Stated battery life reaches up to 50,000 hours, with IPX6 waterproofing and a recoil rating of 1000 G — performance figures suited to sustained operational use with common calibres.

Frenzy is the family of open red dots from Vector Optics. The recurring feature is the side battery compartment, which allows battery replacement without removing the optic and without re-zeroing: a detail that matters when the optic has been mounted and zeroed for months.

The range covers windows from 16×21 mm for compact pistols up to 26×32 mm for dynamic shooting, where seeing the target and its surroundings at the same instant makes the difference during transitions.
