The HOMS-01 is the one-piece mount of the HOMS (High Optic Mounting System) range by Strike Systems, designed for optics with a 30 mm tube on airsoft guns fitted with a Picatinny or RIS rail (22 mm). The centreline height from rail to tube is 49 mm, a figure chosen to work with full-volume tactical stocks and allow the shooter to maintain a natural cheek weld without craning the head forward.

CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, the mount delivers consistent geometry from unit to unit: the tube seat is milled from a single piece, eliminating the join between front and rear half-rings that can introduce vertical misalignment between the adjustment turrets and the optical axis in two-piece mounts. Once correctly torqued at first installation, no further adjustment is needed, provided the rail surface is in good condition. The 49 mm height does mean that shooters whose gun lacks an ergonomic riser will need to adjust their cheek position — the further the tube sits from the rail, the more pronounced this requirement becomes.

The one-piece design minimises the number of screws and mating surfaces compared with a separate-ring system, simplifying installation and reducing the number of potential loosening points over time. The trade-off is that the length and position of the rail clamps are fixed, so it is worth confirming that the available rail window on your airsoft gun is compatible with the mount's footprint before purchasing.
