Rite in the Rain

The Rite in the Rain Pocket Notebook is a waterproof notebook in a pocket-sized 101x152 mm format, designed for anyone who works or operates outdoors in conditions that would destroy a standard notebook. With 100 pages across 50 sheets of universal-ruled paper and a weight of just 91 g, it carries unnoticed and writes reliably in the rain, with wet or sweaty hands.

The light-grey All-Weather paper is matte and non-reflective: it reads and writes clearly in direct sunlight, and it will not stick together or tear when wet. Compatibility with ballpoint and piston-fill pens makes it equally suited to uniformed personnel and to hunters or hikers who prefer a mechanical writing tool with no dependency on batteries or connectivity.

The rigid Polydura cover protects the pages from impacts and the contents of a crowded pouch or cargo pocket, and doubles as a writing surface when no other is available. The top-bound Wire-O spiral binding lets you open the notebook completely flat and turn pages without lateral bulk — a genuine advantage when working one-handed or in confined spaces. The trade-off is in the top binding itself: it works best on a surface with the pad held vertically, but is less immediately convenient than a side-bound notebook when writing with the book held in hand.
