ProTech Guns Duo Pack Lubricant Kit Silicone and PTFE Teflon — Black

The ProTech Guns Duo Pack is a kit of two specialised lubricants — silicone grease and PTFE grease with lithium additive — designed for the complete maintenance of airsoft guns and air guns. Each bottle contains 10 ml of product, for a total of 20 ml per pack.

The two greases cover opposing requirements and complement each other: silicone grease is intended for rubber and elastomeric parts — seals, pistons, O-rings — where a mineral or pure lithium-based lubricant would cause swelling and deterioration over time. Its chemical stability makes it effective in humid environments, in the presence of dilute acids, bases and salts, and it is water-resistant. PTFE lithium grease, on the other hand, is formulated for metal surfaces in motion: gearbox gears, return springs and pistol slides. Polytetrafluoroethylene reduces the coefficient of friction on metal surfaces without leaving sticky residues that trap dust and debris.

Using the wrong grease on the wrong component is the most common mistake in airsoft gun maintenance: silicone on the metal parts of the gearbox delivers inferior lubrication compared to PTFE, while lithium grease on seals accelerates their degradation. Having both products in a single pack eliminates this ambiguity and allows a complete service to be carried out without purchasing additional products.
