The Miltec Open MOLLE Radio Pouch is an open-top pouch designed for handheld radios and similar devices, with a base of 7x3 cm, a height of 12 cm, and the ability to accommodate taller units thanks to the bungee system, which extends the usable capacity to 20 cm. It attaches to the MOLLE/PALS systems of plate carriers, chest rigs, and duty belts.

The open top is the right choice when draw and re-insertion need to be fast and one-handed – for example, to change channel or answer a call without breaking movement. The elastic bungee retains the radio while running and on uneven terrain, but does not offer the same level of security as a snap closure: those operating in environments with a risk of falls or prolonged low-crawling should consider whether the speed of access justifies this trade-off.
