Lightstick Miltec Mini 40 mm — Blue

Miltec Mini lightsticks are 40 mm single-use glow sticks made from ABS, emitting blue light with no heat and no flame. Sold in packs of ten, aimed at those who get through them in quantity: night patrols, professional operators, hunters, and hikers.

Activation is straightforward: bend the stick to crack the inner ampoule, then shake for a few seconds. No switch, no battery, no ignition source. The waterproof construction means they work reliably in heavy rain or after submersion, with no drop in light output. Blue is the colour of choice when you want to limit naked-eye visibility at distance while keeping the marker clearly visible up close or through NV systems.

The 40 mm size is the most common balance between portability and emission duration: it takes up virtually no space in a pocket or on a piece of kit, yet the chemical charge is sufficient to signal, mark a route, or identify a rally point for the duration of a full night operation. Those needing a longer burn time should look at larger formats; those after maximum compactness will find this size hits the right balance. Being single-use, there is no degradation from repeated reactivation as seen with rechargeable cells.
