Kicking Mustang Adaptive Leafstrip Camouflage Leaves — Gen Green

The Kicking Mustang Adaptive Leafstrips are three-dimensional synthetic leaf strips designed to break up the visual profile of operators, hunters and shooters in vegetated environments. Each strip measures between 130 and 140 cm in length and the pack includes four, allowing modular coverage across clothing, kit or a weapon.

The 3D leaf design works on the principle of edge breaking: the volume created by individual leaves casts its own shadows that overlay the underlying pattern and interrupt the operator's silhouette even as terrain changes. The Next-Gen Green colour is calibrated for dense green vegetation, typically from spring through to late summer; in autumn, as foliage turns, the effectiveness of the colour scheme decreases and it may be worth combining strips in warmer tones.

The adaptive finish of the synthetic fabric reduces surface reflection — a factor as critical as colour in low-angle light conditions or when operating under optics. The strips are attached by weaving or securing them through the eyelets of ghillie suits, pack covers or directly to kit with ties: no sewing required, and they can be redistributed in the field in seconds to suit the available vegetation. This makes them versatile but less stable than permanently sewn panels, which hold up better during fast movement through dense cover.
