The Tactical TopCool Lite is a short-sleeve technical T-shirt made from 100% TopCool polyester, with a fabric weight of 150 g/m² and an overall weight of approximately 190 g. It is designed for those who work or shoot in hot conditions and need fast moisture management as well as the ability to attach patches or insignia without removing the garment.
The TopCool fabric is engineered to wick moisture rapidly to the surface, where it evaporates. This makes it more effective than cotton during sustained physical exertion — hunting outings, dynamic shooting competitions, operational shifts — where accumulated heavy, cold sweat becomes both a physical and a tactical problem. The low weight means no added bulk under ballistic plates or load-bearing harnesses.
The 5x8.5 cm Velcro panels on the sleeves allow identification or role patches to be attached without permanent modifications to the garment. The small sleeve pockets provide space for notes, cards or quick-access items. The integrated glasses retainers in the collar prevent lenses from being lost during movement. The trade-off here is the one common to synthetic technical fabrics: moisture management is superior to cotton, but polyester retains odours more quickly under intensive, repeated use — worth factoring in when deciding how often to wash it.
