Wosport FAST Type Single 7.62 Short Mag Pouch — Ranger Green

Single open-top magazine pouch for 7.62 rifle magazines, designed in the short format to reduce overall vertical height. It mounts on both MOLLE/PALS platforms and directly on a belt, covering the most common setups used by dynamic shooters, hunters, and operators running AR-10, M14, or similar platforms.

The open-top design with elastic retention is the fastest option for one-handed magazine extraction and re-insertion, even under stress or with gloves on. The trade-off is straightforward: this solution holds the magazine securely under normal use conditions, but does not provide the positive lock of a mechanical retention device. Anyone expecting hard movements, inverted positions, or operation over very rough terrain should factor this into their setup choices.

The short format reduces the overall height of the pouch compared to the standard version, lowering the load's centre of gravity and improving arm movement clearance. The dual-column MOLLE attachment allows it to be mounted on a plate carrier, chest rig, or tactical belt without additional adapters, while belt compatibility extends its use to lighter or civilian setups.

Key points

• Open-top with elastic retention: fast one-handed magazine draw and re-insertion, no retention devices or velcro to operate.
• Short format: reduced height compared to the standard version, less interference with the elbow and arm movement.
• Dual MOLLE/PALS and belt compatibility: fits plate carriers, chest rigs, and belts without separate adapters.
• Designed for 7.62 magazines: the internal geometry is sized for full-power rifle magazines, not pistol magazines or short 5.56 magazines.
• Elastic retention: reliable in everyday use and during movement, but less suited where inverted positions or extreme physical stress are expected.
