Wosport FAST AK 7.62 Single Magazine Pouch — Ranger Green

Single magazine pouch for 7.62 mm AK magazines in FAST format, designed for shooters running a rotating-bolt rifle from the Kalashnikov family who need quick access to a spare magazine. The cordura body is shaped to follow the curved profile of standard AK magazines, keeping the correct geometry during extraction.

The mounting system accepts both MOLLE/PALS panels and a belt, giving the flexibility to move it from a belt rig to a plate carrier or chest rig without buying additional hardware. The choice of mounting point changes how the pouch behaves under load: on MOLLE it stays fixed to the carrier with no movement, on a belt it sits lower and makes access easier from a seated or vehicle position.

Retention is handled by an open-top design with an elastic insert: the magazine draws and reseats in one direct motion, with no snaps or velcro to clear, which reduces reload time. The trade-off is well understood: an open-top system gives the fastest possible draw but offers less protection against accidental loss compared to a covered snap-closure — a reasonable choice for anyone prioritising speed on a dynamic shooting rifle or driven hunt, less suited to situations where you may be inverted or moving through dense vegetation that could snag the magazine.

Key features

• Shaped specifically for the curved profile of 7.62 mm AK magazines, eliminating the lateral play you get with a generic pouch.
• MOLLE/PALS and belt compatibility in the same pouch, with no additional adapters required.
• Open-top design with elastic retention: magazine in and out in a single movement, no snaps to open.
• Ranger Green colour suited to woodland and mixed environments, compatible with the main green camouflage systems in use.
• FAST format construction keeps the footprint compact by reducing pouch width compared to double-magazine models.
