Wosport FAST Single 5.56 Short Magazine Pouch — Black

Single open-top pouch for 5.56 rifle magazines, in the Short variant designed for reduced-capacity magazines or for those who prefer a lower-profile setup. The dual attachment system — MOLLE/PALS and belt — makes it compatible with chest rigs and plate carriers as well as lighter belt-only configurations.

Elastic open-top retention is the right choice when speed of draw and reload is the priority: the movement is direct, with no buttons or catches to operate under pressure. The trade-off is reduced passive security compared to an active retention system: in highly dynamic positions or during extended movement, the magazine may work its way loose. Anyone who needs maximum retention under all conditions should consider a pouch with active closure; those working in controlled environments or prioritising speed will find this system hits the right balance.

MOLLE/PALS compatibility ensures modular, stable placement on a vest, while the belt option allows it to be carried in lighter setups. Black integrates it into professional kit and night operations without adding visual signature.

Key features

• Open top with retention elastic: fast draw and reload without operating any catch — well suited to dynamic shooting and training
• Dual MOLLE/PALS and belt attachment: fits plate carriers, chest rigs and light configurations without additional adapters
• Short variant: reduced profile that limits lateral bulk and pairs well with standard 20- or 25-round 5.56 magazines
• Elastic retention: faster than a snap retention system, but warrants attention in highly dynamic environments or during extended movement
• Black: suitable for professional kit, night operations and monochromatic equipment systems
