ARDON Alex High-Visibility Vest — Orange

The ARDON Alex high-visibility vest is a signalling accessory made from 100% polyester mesh fabric, designed for anyone who needs to be seen at a distance in traffic, on construction sites or during field operations. In airsoft it is used as a status indicator — eliminated, referee, technician — thanks to its high-contrast orange colour and retroreflective strips arranged in two distinct rows on the front and back. The fit is universal in a single size XL, large enough to be worn over any clothing.

The low weight of the fabric, 120 g/m², keeps the vest breathable and avoids adding a closed layer that traps heat: an advantage during extended field use or long shifts in summer. The front hook-and-loop closure lets you put it on and take it off in seconds without undoing anything, and when not in use it folds down to a minimal volume. Compliance with the EN 20471 Class 2 standard certifies the minimum requirements for reflective and fluorescent surface area in environments where visibility is a safety obligation.

The limitation of this solution is inherent to the category: lightweight polyester mesh fabric offers no mechanical resistance comparable to a full-weave vest, and the retroreflective strips work well with direct or artificial light but do not replace additional fluorescent colours in diffuse light conditions. For those looking for a status indicator in airsoft, orange is not a faction colour — it is safety signalling, which makes it unambiguously recognisable to everyone on the field.
