OLIGHT Osight SE Red Dot Sight RMSc Footprint — Black

The Osight SE is a closed red dot sight from OLIGHT with an RMSc footprint, designed for compact and subcompact pistols that already feature this standard cut. Its small form factor makes it compatible with most pre-cut slides without adapter plates, keeping a low profile along the sight line.

The RMSc footprint is one of the most widely used standards on defensive and practical shooting pistols in the compact format: choosing a sight that matches it means you can replace or swap the optic without re-machining the slide. The closed construction protects the front lens from dust, moisture, and lateral impacts better than an open red dot, at the cost of a slightly larger footprint compared to open-frame solutions. Those seeking maximum vertical compactness may prefer an open dot; those operating in less controlled conditions gain reliability from the full window coverage.

The red dot allows rapid target acquisition with both eyes open, without the need to align rear and front sights. This advantage is greatest at the distances typical of dynamic shooting and self-defence, where speed of presentation matters more than long-range precision.

Key Features

• RMSc footprint directly compatible with the most common compact-format slides, with no adapter plates required.
• Closed housing: the front lens is protected from dust and moisture even under demanding conditions.
• Fast target acquisition with both eyes open, ideal for close-range engagements and rapid sequences.
• Low profile that does not significantly alter the overall size of the pistol.
