OLIGHT Osight K Green Reflex Sight — Black

The Osight K is a compact green dot reflex sight designed for pistol use, with an RMSc footprint that makes it compatible with the standard cuts already milled on most modern handguns. The 6 MOA dot is intentionally generous: at defensive and operational distances it enables rapid target acquisition without demanding precise focus from the shooter, at the cost of reduced precision beyond 25–30 metres compared to 2–3 MOA dots.

The 7075 aluminium alloy body keeps the total weight at 29 grams, a significant figure on a pistol where every gram on the slide affects the cycling. The 21×14 mm window is adequate for the green dot, though shooters accustomed to larger sights will need to adapt their presentation technique to find the dot quickly. Green is chosen over red because the human eye is more sensitive to green in natural light conditions, reducing the need to push brightness to levels that would wash out the visual context.

The 8 daytime plus 2 night-vision brightness levels cover use with image intensifiers. The motion-detection function manages standby and automatic wake-up, extending the CR1620 battery life to a stated 63,000 hours: a sight that stays ready without manual management. The ±35 MOA adjustment range in 1 MOA per click increments leaves ample zeroing margin across different ranges. IPX6 resistance covers exposure to rain and splashing, but not prolonged submersion.

Key features

• The RMSc footprint mounts directly onto cuts already milled on many pistols, with no additional adapter plates required.
• The 6 MOA green dot speeds up target acquisition at close distances compared to smaller dots, at the expense of long-range precision.
• A total weight of 29 grams minimises the effect on slide cycling dynamics.
• Motion detection activates and puts the sight into standby automatically, eliminating manual on/off management.
• Brightness memory resumes the last set level on every wake-up, avoiding repeated adjustments.
• The low-battery indicator gives advance warning of the need for replacement, so the shooter is never caught off guard.
