Light management is this torch's real strength: colour temperature is continuously adjustable between 2,700 and 6,000 K, allowing you to switch from a warm, less fatiguing light for extended fieldwork to a cool white, high-contrast beam for inspecting details or reading maps. Red and green outputs are also available, useful for preserving night vision or for signalling. The 13 operating modes let you balance runtime against output: maximum run time reaches up to 240 hours, though this is only achievable at the lowest output levels — running at full power means significantly shorter runtime. Power comes from two 6,000 mAh 21700 Li-ion batteries included in the box, rechargeable via the integrated USB-C port. The metal and ABS body is rated IP66, providing full protection against dust and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for use in adverse weather. Fenix recommends using only protected Fenix 21700 Li-ion batteries and not mixing batteries of different types or capacities; for prolonged storage, batteries should be removed.
