Warrior Assault Systems Drop Down Utility Pouch — MultiCam

The Drop Down Utility Pouch from Warrior Assault Systems is a multi-purpose velcro-panel pouch designed for operators who need rapid access to a first-response kit, admin kit, or secondary gear directly on the front of a vest or carrier. Measuring 260 mm wide, 165 mm tall and 85 mm deep, it provides a generous usable volume without adding bulk to the operator's side profile.

The 500D nylon construction delivers abrasion resistance while keeping weight low: the pouch weighs approximately 132 g, a figure that makes a real difference over extended carry. Attachment is via a velcro panel compatible with hook-and-loop systems — it is essential to confirm that the destination carrier or plate carrier is fitted with the corresponding loop surface — with additional stability provided by perimeter MOLLE webbing, which allows the mount to be locked down or further accessories to be attached.

The interior features two elastic loops for positioning torches, medical kits or cylindrical tools, plus a rear slot designed to accept a soft armour insert — not included. The open-top design with elastic retention allows single-handed rapid extraction and equally fast reloading; the trade-off is that retention is lower than with a zip or snap-close lid, making this configuration best suited to frequently accessed items rather than gear that must never shift.

Key features

• The velcro panel combined with perimeter MOLLE webbing allows precise positioning on the carrier and a solid lock-down that prevents the pouch from rotating or sliding.
• The open top with elastic retention balances extraction speed and security: ideal for frequently used kit, less suited to items that must stay in a fixed position at all times.
• The rear soft-insert slot allows an additional protective layer to be added without altering the external profile of the pouch.
• The 132 g weight and 500D nylon construction offer a strength-to-weight ratio suited to prolonged field use.
• The MultiCam pattern integrates with the most widely used camouflage systems in both operational and hunting environments.
