The Warrior Assault Systems MBITR Gen 2 radio pouch is designed specifically to house the AN/PRC-148 MBITR and radios of equivalent size. Measuring 20x8x5 cm and weighing 135 g, it mounts on any MOLLE/PALS system across two horizontal rows without adding unnecessary bulk to your kit.
The closure combines a quick-release buckle with an elastic cord: the result is fast enough access under operational conditions while offering superior retention compared to a simple open top. Those after maximum draw speed will find that the buckle adds one step over a free elastic loop; in return, the radio stays firmly in place during sudden movements or when the operator is prone. The external elastic loop allows a CAT tourniquet to be clipped on without taking up internal space, while four side loops keep accessories or extension cables tidy and accessible.
The material is Cordura 500D, a choice that balances abrasion resistance with low weight for intensive daily use. The construction reduces the infrared signature, an important requirement for operators working in environments monitored by NV/IR systems. The Multicam colouring meets the same criteria for reduced visibility in the visible spectrum across mixed environments.
