Warrior Assault Systems Smoke Grenade Pouch Gen2 — MultiCam

The Warrior Assault Systems Smoke Grenade Pouch Gen2 is a second-generation MOLLE pouch designed specifically for M18-format smoke grenades and devices of equivalent size, including the most common airsoft grenades. Compared to the previous version, it is more compact and shaped to reduce lateral bulk on the carrier — a welcome detail when space between pouches is tight.

What sets this Gen2 apart from simpler solutions is the adjustable internal riser: a 38 mm strap-mounted platform that lifts shorter grenades towards the top of the pouch. The practical result is a faster draw — the hand does not need to reach deep to find the fuze, reducing extraction time. The adjustable quick-release lid keeps the contents secure during running or rolling, a level of retention that a side elastic alone cannot guarantee. The strap adjusts to suit different grenade diameters and heights, so the pouch accommodates slightly varying formats without additional accessories.

The quick-release closure offers greater retention than an open-top pouch with elastic only, but requires one extra movement on the draw. For airsoft grenades with shorter and slimmer bodies than the M18 — as found in dynamic shooting and milsim — the side elastic provides sufficient retention during movement, but the quick-release becomes the primary safeguard against accidental loss: adjust the internal strap carefully and do not rely on the elastic alone. Mounting takes up 2 horizontal MOLLE columns, keeping the impact on your carrier configuration to a minimum.

Key features
