TRAMONTANE windproof jacket - WindPack(R) Nylon - Flecktarn
The Tramontane wind jacket (named after the Mediterranean north wind) weighs just 150 g and can be quickly and easily folded into a chest pocket. This makes it the size of a Coca Cola can and you can carry it comfortably in your cargo pocket or in the side pocket of your backpack. In summer it will serve you well as a separate layer over a T-shirt, in spring and autumn you will appreciate it in combination with a fleece hoodie or sweater. Despite its low weight, it protects perfectly from the wind and does not restrict movement even in dynamic situations. The Tramontane is made of lightweight but durable WindPack(R) nylon. It dries quickly and is impregnated with a waterproof DWR (Durable Water Repellency) layer that stops light rain and snow. The WindPack(R) is also excellent at removing excess heat from the body.
