Quality Material

The basis of a great jacket is quality material. The SQUALL jacket is made from a trilaminate made of durable hardshell nylon on the outer layer, a microporous polyurethane membrane in the middle and a soft nylon lining on the inside. The pores of the membrane are small enough to prevent water from penetrating while allowing moisture to escape, resulting in a very good breathability of 30,000 g/m2/24h. This, combined with a 30,000 mm water column, makes for an ideal combination for demanding outdoor conditions. To improve water resistance, the jacket features heat-sealed seams and premium YKK(R) AquaGuard(R) waterproof zippers. The outer layer is treated with a non-toxic DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating that is free from harmful PFC (perfluorocarbon) materials.

The jacket closes with a central two-way zipper that ends in a collar with throat protection and Prym snap closure, allowing even those with long beards to avoid an uncomfortable closure around the neck. The collar has a high cut and is equipped with a deep hood with a smaller visor. Both the hood and the collar can be adjusted using elastic cords to fit your needs. The chest pockets close with zippers and are roomy enough for easy access even with winter gloves. Inside the jacket, there is a third pocket suitable for storing valuables such as wallets or electronic devices. The left sleeve features a special panel with a waterproof zipper.
