Nite Ize's main motto is that nothing is so small or simple that it can't be improved. A typical example: an auxiliary carabiner! After careful consideration, they found two ways to improve this type of carabiner. First of all, they developed the SLIDELOCK(R) lock, which locks the carabiner by simply sliding the lock over the carabiner's wire. The second improvement is the change of shape of the carabiner from a classic tubular to a flat one. You save space, the carabiner immediately becomes more compact, you can hang things with a narrow diameter and it almost slips into your pocket by itself. Thanks to the material used, it is still quite strong and durable. The SlideLock carabiner is available in four sizes: #6 for larger things, #4 perfect for belt loops or a backpack, #3 and #2 for smaller things like keys and also suitable for attaching to a zipper slider.
