NITE IZE Radiant RH2 PowerSwitch Headlamp — Black / Brown

The Radiant RH2 PowerSwitch is a rechargeable headlamp with seven output modes and a maximum output of 700 lumens, designed for those who need reliable light in open terrain, off marked trails, or in conditions of prolonged low visibility. It weighs 75 grams, has a maximum beam distance of 77 metres, and the head tilts up to 90°.

The PowerSwitch system is the centrepiece of the design: the lamp accepts both the included rechargeable Li-Ion battery and three standard AAA batteries — not included. In practice, when the built-in battery is flat and there is no way to recharge it, you switch to disposable batteries without changing headlamps. Charging is via micro USB in approximately 3.5 hours; the cable is not included but is a widely available standard. This dual power supply is the right choice for long trips or remote environments where access to a socket is not guaranteed; those who use the lamp only in urban settings or with regular access to mains power will not benefit from this feature and may prefer a more compact option.

Water resistance is rated IPX7, corresponding to temporary submersion up to one metre: adequate for heavy rain, stream crossings, and accidental drops in water. The ABS housing withstands drops of up to 2 metres. The seven modes allow output to be adjusted according to the runtime required, from maximum intensity down to low-drain orientation light.
