Rope Tensioner CamJam SlideLock Nite Ize — Black

The Nite Ize CamJam SlideLock is a die-cast aluminium rope tensioner and line locker available in size L, designed to tension and secure ropes with a diameter of 3 to 9 mm in outdoor, camping, and logistical settings. Measuring 115 x 56 x 22 mm, it has a compact footprint while offering a stated working load of 227 kg and a break strength of 680 kg.

The integrated cam mechanism (SlideLock) lets you adjust line tension by sliding the device along the rope and lock its position without tying knots. This removes the need to re-rig every time you strike a bivouac or reposition a tarp, cutting setup time even with cold hands or gloves on. The aluminium body keeps weight low while retaining the structural rigidity needed to handle heavy loads.

One thing worth knowing about how the system works: the cam slides freely until locked, which makes adjustment very fast but requires the SlideLock to be correctly positioned before the rope is loaded. On wet or particularly slick lines, it is good practice to check the lock is seated before applying the full load.
