Hook Nite Ize CamJam HookLock Strap Hook — Silver

The Nite Ize CamJam HookLock Strap Hook is a hardened steel hook with a nickel anti-oxidant coating, sold in a pack of two. It is compatible with straps 25 mm wide and with bars, D-rings and anchor points up to 25 mm in diameter, making it suited to the quick securing and tensioning of loads on vehicles, field equipment and transport systems.

The double snap hook with spring lock holds the strap under load without accidental release, yet allows one-handed disengagement when tension is no longer needed. The stated maximum working load is 453 kg, with a breaking strength of 680 kg – a margin that allows operation within working limits without having to guess whether the hook will hold. As with any strap system, reliability depends on the integrity of the anchor point and the strap itself, not just the hook: the weakest link in the chain determines the overall holding strength.

The nickel coating protects the steel from oxidation in damp conditions and during prolonged outdoor use, keeping the mechanism functional even after extended exposure to the elements. The compact profile does not interfere with adjacent load systems and integrates without modification onto standard 25 mm straps already in use.

Key features

• The double snap hook with spring lock prevents accidental opening under load, reducing the risk of load loss during transport.
• A maximum working load of 453 kg and a breaking strength of 680 kg provide operational headroom for heavy loads without reaching the structural limit.
• Compatible with standard 25 mm straps and anchor points up to 25 mm in diameter: fits existing kit without adapters.
