The Wiley X Citadel ballistic glasses with Captivate™ technology are designed for shooting, hunting, and professional use. The toric Selenite™ polycarbonate lens follows the natural curvature of the eye, blocking peripheral light and maintaining a wide, sharp field of view in all conditions.

Captivate™ technology alters the way the eye perceives a scene: it enhances contrast, intensifies colour rendering, and filters the most harmful wavelengths, so targets stand out more clearly against the background even in difficult lighting. The T-Shell™ coating protects the lenses from scratches — a significant advantage when operational conditions do not allow the glasses to be stored in their case. The Triloid™ nylon frame combines low weight with impact resistance, and the rubberised temples hold the glasses firmly in place even during sudden movements, without the need to tighten the nose bridge.

The removable side shields add a barrier against dust, wind, and debris when conditions call for it, but can be taken off in seconds when not needed: those who leave them fitted gain peripheral protection; those who remove them get a more open field of view and a lower-profile frame. The Citadel are certified to ANSI Z87.1, MIL-PRF-32432A, and ISO 12312-1 — three ballistic protection standards covering the civilian professional market, the US military market, and the European solar protection sector respectively.
