Ghillie Suit Invader Gear Base Leaf Camouflage — Flecktarn

The Invader Gear Ghillie Base Leaf is a leaf-pattern camouflage suit worn as an overgarment on top of existing kit, designed for operators working in woodland and vegetated environments where the human silhouette needs to blend into the background. Weighing 1220 g and constructed entirely from 100% polyester, it balances visual concealment with packability in a single garment.

The Flecktarn pattern is optimised for mixed deciduous woodland, where dappled light and the tonal variations of green-brown foliage are the norm. The leaves attached to the fabric break up the vertical body outline and mimic the natural layering of vegetation — an effect that flat printed patterns cannot achieve because they lack three-dimensional depth. This advantage comes at a cost, however: the fabric appendages require care during movement to avoid snagging on branches and fences, and the open surface picks up moisture and debris more readily than a smooth garment.

The suit features additional attachment points for natural vegetation, allowing the shooter or hunter to weave in local twigs, grass or moss and tailor the camouflage to the specific environment within minutes. The included compression sack reduces packed volume, making the suit compatible with rucksacks already loaded with other kit.

Key features

• Three-dimensional leaves break up the silhouette more convincingly than a flat pattern, reducing the risk of optical detection at distance.
• The Flecktarn pattern performs in mixed deciduous woodland where green and brown variations are dominant.
• Attachment points for natural vegetation allow camouflage to be customised on the spot without modifying the suit.
• The low weight of 1220 g allows it to be worn over existing kit without compromising mobility during the approach.
• The included compression sack reduces bulk during transport and allows the suit to be kept in reserve until the moment of concealment.
