Delta Armory CQD Sling Plate M4/AR15 — Black

The Delta Armory CQD Sling Plate is a steel attachment plate for quick-detach slings, designed for AEG airsoft replicas based on the M4 and AR15 platform. It fits between the rear receiver and the buffer tube, occupying the existing gap in the lower without requiring drilling or permanent modification: compatibility is limited to AEG platforms, and the manufacturer explicitly rules out use on GBB variants.

The steel construction handles the cyclic stress typical of carrying a sling during airsoft sessions: unlike nylon or aluminium versions, it does not develop play over time under repeated lateral pull. Positioning the plate between the receiver and buffer tube distributes the load across the lower rather than concentrating it on a single fixing point, making the sling anchor more stable than a ring screwed onto the end of the buffer tube.

It is worth considering the installation trade-off: fitting the plate between the receiver and buffer tube requires removing the tube from the replica, which on some AEG models can be awkward if the locking nut has been tightened at the factory. The advantage is that, once in place, the plate needs no further adjustment or tools for normal use in the field.
