UMAREX VFC HK416 A5 AEG Airsoft Rifle — Black

The HK416 A5 AEG by VFC, manufactured under the UMAREX brand, is an airsoft replica of the Heckler & Koch HK416 A5 assault rifle, built for those looking for an electric system with premium materials and finish. The body is aluminium and steel, the handguard fibre-reinforced polymer, with an overall length of 725 mm to 805 mm depending on the position of the retractable stock. The weight is 2950 g, in line with the real-steel reference.

The replica features a VFC V2.1 gearbox in QSC (Quick Spring Change) configuration, compatible with standard V2 components, although fitting an aftermarket CNC gearbox may require modifications. The piston has 5 teeth with a metal head, the bushings are metal at 8 mm, and the spring can be swapped without fully opening the receiver — a practical advantage when changing velocity settings between sessions. The hop-up chamber is plastic and the nozzle is plastic: components that are commonly upgraded when customising the replica. The stated muzzle velocity is 95 m/s with 0.25 g BBs; the manufacturer recommends BBs between 0.25 g and 0.28 g.

The integrated MOSFET protects the trigger contacts and delivers a cleaner firing cycle compared to gearboxes with direct contacts, but the replica does not include a processor unit: advanced features such as rate-of-fire control or programmable burst are not included as standard. The replica is powered by Li-Po or Li-Ion batteries housed in the stock tube; the connector fitted is a Small Tamiya. Battery and magazine are not included. The inner barrel measures 275 mm. The top rail and side rails conform to the RIS/Picatinny standard, leaving plenty of scope for adding accessories. The muzzle thread is 14 mm left-hand.
