It solves the problem for those who need to mount night vision devices on systems that do not share the same attachment standard.

The metal body provides the rigidity needed to ensure the interface between the helmet and the NVG arm introduces no play: even a few tenths of a millimetre of movement at that point translates into image drift precisely when stability is most critical. The pad does not replace the arm or the night vision device, but is the component that makes it possible to combine parts from different standards without permanent modifications to the helmet.

Pairing with dovetail-type arms offers a quick and reversible connection, but requires the pad to be correctly secured to the helmet before use: checking the torque before each outing is part of standard procedure with any modular NVG system.

Key Points

Full metal body: no structural flex under the weight of the night vision device

Compatible with Wilcox L3 and L4G24 arms with dovetail interface

Allows night vision devices to be used on helmets with different mounting standards without permanent modifications

Black version, single variant

In the Box

MACHOS Dovetail Mounting Pad

https://www.vipertactical.it/en/products/lion-s-gear-solutions-machos-dovetail-mounting-pad-for-nvg-arm-black
